Vienna Station
Now thats old! This station was built in 1859 by the Alexandria, Loudoun & Hampshire Railroad, but it served most of its life on the Washington and Old Dominion Railroad, which used it until 1968. Next to the station, the old right-of-way is now a trail.

Tom Beckett General Cool album, with good history. We focus so much on the trains, we often overlook the supporting facilities, even something as simple as code lines, now mostly a memory. Good to see this kind of stuff. 8/6/2018 5:30:25 AM
