Photo by Philip R. Hastings. Photo Caption: "What the helper crew sees ot the train it assists." Partially visible here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5867, an EP-20 built by GM-EMD in March of 1949 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. Barely visible in the distance is the Altoona Passenger Station.
