Coal Power. Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Chicago, Illinois, circa 1940. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9885, an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built in Juniata as an H-8A during 1911, rebuilt as an H-10S in January of 1917, and retired in March of 1952 after 41 years of faithful service.
