Coal Power. Here is duplicate 35mm color slide (converted to B&W) "R-72. PRR. #6717. 4-8-2. Enola, PA" that's produced and distributed by Stanley Color Slides of Beverly Hills, California. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6717, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A during April of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in March of 1948, and retired in September of 1958 after 28 years of faithful service. The date is an approximation.
