IC 3107
A CN local approaches Bergstrom Rd. as it heads east via former SOO rails at Neenah, WI on 31 Mar. '18. Train has just finished servicing Menasha Packaging (out-of-frame to left). There are two large manufacturing facilities next door to each other here, out-of-frame to left. Both are currently Menasha Packaging facilities, owned by Menasha Corp., whose new corporate headquarters stands just to the south. The southernmost was built by Menasha Corp. in '64 after a devastating fire destroyed most of their historic downtown Menasha facility. The northernmost was built by Bergstrom Paper in the '60s. The overgrown loading dock partially visible at left could be used to load and unload railroad freight cars, but hasn't for many years.
