Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer of a westbound Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train rounding the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #5852 and an "EP" Class B-unit whose number is not recorded. Both were built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,000 horsepower each. #5852 was built in September of 1947.
