Drab day  Contributor's Pick!
Id go out in pretty much anything, on the theory that trains ran no matter what, so it would be a good idea to record the action. Besides, the Tier weather being what it is, if I only went out on good days, Id see ten trains a year. Still, January could be especially bleak, sometimes with only 30% of the possible sun coming through. On one of those days, 557 rolls around the big curve at MP 231. I was the only one to witness the event.
