CGW 2-8-0 #320 - Chicago Great Western  Contributor's Pick!       
Proud road crew pause for a photo with their 1909 Baldwin built 2-8-0 Consolidation steam locomotive. Specs - class G-3, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 24x30" cylinders, engine weight of 222,650 lb, tractive effort of 46,629 lb. Twelve of the 40 G-3 Consolidations were rebuilt by CGW shops into G-4 class Consolidations. All were retired between 1930-1950. No photographer listed. The date and location are approximate since neither were given.
