ESHR Coach 8306  Contributor's Pick!
Nice shot of the two car tourist train at Parksley, VA. The end car (only one I could read its number) started as a 62 seat lightweight Delware, Lackawanna & Western coach, then merged into the Erie Lackawanna roster, then onto Long Island before finally coming to the Eastern Shore RR. Read the comment below from Jerry LaBoda who adds a lot more interesting info on zhis car. WM J. Madden slide

Jerry LaBoda General Note the "RRP" on the end of 8306. The car was owned by RR Passenger Cars, Inc., at the time that the photo was taken, on lease to Chessie System for their excursions. Prior to receiving Chessie Yellow the car was painted in B&O blue and gray with only "RRP" lettering and the car number. Great shot!!! This is the first shot I have seen of this car... I appreciate you sharing it!!! 9/27/2017 7:11:54 PM
