Flowery river running  Contributor's Pick!
H 88 along the Susquehanna River between Campville and Owego. The hillside there has a variety of flowers, often making for a pretty scene, though the trees have by this time grown up so much that river views are a challenge in the summer. Its still a pretty spot. The power is not unusual, except that it was more typically GE's. To my 1970's mind, locals usually got smaller power, mostly 4 axle, though in today's world, there isn't much of that left. Today we have a pair of the newest and best first tier power on a job that essentially runs NYSW and CP interchange to Binghamton from Gang Mills.
