Black and Blue on the L&C  Contributor's Pick!
May 24 was the first run for the Yadkin Valley Railroad's GP40-2LW #9548 on the L&C. The train is seen here in East Chester. The 9548 will get L&C lettering, but no blue paint yet. While the two engines behind it were the railroad's first six axle power, the 9548 is their first wide nose locomotive. It was built in 1975 for the Canadian National.
