| UP Laredo Sub; looking north. This was the site of the junction of Asherton and Gulf Railroad. Built in 1909, the line wanted to reach Carrizo Springs but never made it past Asherton. In 1926, A&G came under control of Missouri Pacific and lasted until abandonment in 1958. |
