| A sad CSX reunion of sorts is taking place at Metalico Scrap in Brier Hill, Ohio in this March 27, 2017 photo. Several CSX C40-8s were piled amongst the scrap, including CSX #7597, pictured here on the left. CSX #7597 was built in June of 1990. Also amongst the pile, I found the cab number for Canadian Pacific #5612 (SD40-2). Though I am not sure, I would guess that the standard cap nose on the right is from this unit. All of these units were trucked here from Larrys Truck and Electric (LTEX). |
