Randy Curlin General Great shot! 3/21/2017 5:18:54 AM
Paul Woodring General Taken from Manchester Blvd. NIce example of a B&O CPL intermediate signal (number plate) that also has a "P" marker for "Proceed". Under the rules at that time, while a train did not have to stop and not pass a red iintermediate signal, it did have to "stop and proceed". One of the exceptions to that rule is the "P" or "Proceed" sign, allowing a train with a red signal there to proceed at restricted speed without stopping, looking out for a train or other obstruction ahead. 3/21/2017 11:18:56 AM
Fred Stuckmann General Great. 3/23/2017 6:42:13 AM
Bernie Feltman General Very nice Bob. The "P" part of the SD's always looked cool. Is the "P" Proceed plate on the signal due to a grade? 3/23/2017 6:45:46 AM
