PRR 6086, EF-30A, 1966
Tyrone. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, on 16 April 1966. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #6086, #6087, and another unit whose number is not recorded. #6086 and #6087 are both EF-30A's built by EMD in 1966 and rated at 3,000 horsepower each. They are pulling a westbound mixed-cargo freight train through the Tyrone Station. Part of the original Station building is visible on the left.
