Electric Scrap. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad locomotives in Frankstown, Pennsylvania, on 15 December 1962. Shown here (L to R) are eight PRR electric engines: #3917, #3900, #4768, #4704, #3915, #5689, #4708, and #4720. #3917, #3900, #5689, and #3915 are B-1's built by Juniata. #3917, #3900, and #3915 were built in 1926 ~ but #5689 was built in 1934. #4768, #4704, #4708, #4720 are P-5A's built in 1932 and rated at 3,750 horsepower each. #4768 was built by General Electric ~ but #4720, #4708, and #4704 were built by Baldwin-Westinghouse.
