| Rare photo of Yawkey-Bisselle Lumber #19 built by Baldwin in March 1924 (#57667) originally or the Charcoal Iron Co of America as their #19. The Baldwin Mogul didn't spend a long time on the Charcoal Route before being sold to locomotive rebuilder/reseller Birmingham Rail & Locomotive. The BR&L found a buyer on February 28, 1927, in Yawkey Bissell Lumber Company. Yawkey Bissell later sold the engine to the Marinette, Tomahawk & Western. After a long career, #19 was retired in 1957, donated to the City of Tomahawk and put on display at Memorial Park. Max Miller photo |
