PRR 5789, EP-22, 1965         
Bellwood. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train at Pinecroft ~ just west of Bellwood, Pennsylvania ~ on 26 June 1965. Shown here are PRR engines #5789, #5801, #5844-B, and #5889. All were built by EMD. #5789, #5801, and #5889 are EP-22's rated at 2,250 horsepower each; #5789 and #5801 were built in 1952, but #5889 was built in 1950. #5844-B is an EP-20 built in 1947 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. They are pulling a 38-car westbound mail/express train with "Railway Express" N-5 caboose #5031. Photo taken from the Riggle's Gap Bridge.
