| Horseshoe Curve-1966. Here is an original photo that I took at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, during early May of 1966. Shown here (R to L) is PRR engine #6022 and two others whose numbers are not visible. #6022 is an EF-25A built by EMD in 1965 and rated at 2,500 HP. They are pushing a westbound mixed-cargo freight under four-track Signal Bridge #2417. |
