LIRR Baggage 7715, Coach 453 - Long Island RR  Contributor's Pick!
B-60B series baggage car built in 1928, possibly by ACF. The upper left 72 seat coach car was built in 1923 by American Car & Foundry. To the right in back is another American Car & Foundry 88 seat coach built between 1926-27. No date, location or photographer listed. All 3 cars appeared on an April, 1963 roster published in a train magazine. Thanks to the help from Tom Beckett (see comment below), many details and a closer date has been confirmed.

Tom Beckett General The cars at rear are P54's(Passenger, 54 feet long). These came in both the clerestory and round roof types, as this photo shows, but both in the P54 class. Photo date is some time between 1968 and the mid 70's. The M 1 to the rear of the P54's would have been delivered no earlier than 1968; the P54's were retired in 1976 when the new GP 38-2's arrived. The baggage car would likely have been retired earlier than 1976, so I'm guessing this is from around 1970. 1/24/2016 1:35:43 AM
Tom Beckett General Location looks like Richmond Hill coach yard. 1/24/2016 1:51:25 AM
