The station at Silver Springs had not seen a passenger train since the 1960s, but was used by MOW forces for EL, then Conrail, which is still using it during this visit in 1990. It was well kept, and attractively painted, showing the pride of the workers there in their humble home. This is a view from the west end of the building.
