| Long before an S12 Diesel unit wore the number 922, this 1908 Alco-Brooks Prairie-style loco wore it. Originally numbered 2034, it was renumbered to 5534 in 1912, and was renumbered in 1938 to the 922 shown here. A handwritten note on back of the photo states -"Branch line run in Wisconsin." No date, location or photographer was given for this photo unfortunately. |
