CSX 3048
CSX fourth paint scheme, introduded near the beginning of 1989, eliminated all the blue on the shell, only retaining the blue on the underframe. It was referred as the "stealth" scheme. This "stealth" paint only lasted less than a year, it was changed by late 1989. This is the first painr style to be utlized on brand new CSX locomotives, on C40-8s 7500-7593 and SD60 8700-8709 (SD60s has a included a very narrow blue strip on the frame sill)
