Past the LV connection  Contributor's Pick!
Years ago, the DLW, and later the EL, crossed the Lehigh Valley branch from Freeville up toward Truxton here in Cortland. The line was abandoned at Conrail startup, though there was a short segment with a lumber yard still served by rail. The NYSW still went there at this time. I am standing on the connecting track to the LV as we watch BH 1 go south. How about that MP box with the eagle and buzz saw herald??
