Stacks in the fog  Contributor's Pick!       
An early October morning finds TV 301 heading west at Hiawatha Rd in Owego, passing signal 233-1, which would be removed when the new radio alarm detector was installed at Tioga Center a few years later. If you look closely, you can see the extra light below the main head. This light diplays "hot box" if the detector at Campville, MP 230, gets a hit on a hot axle, and would set the signal red. I only saw it happen once.
