too bad there's no speeder

Harry Edmunds	General	They hooked this behind a "speeder" and the track gang would ride out to the work site. I think the other car carried tools and other materials like tie plates, spikes, joint bars and bolts/nuts and other hardware that was needed to keep the track maintained.	8/25/2015 6:48:02 PM

Bill Beers	General	Thank you Harry. I thought it was a crew transport vehicle but wondered about power. The missing speeder answers that question. One person on another site thought the front car might be a kitchen car but your suggestion seems to make more sense. It almost looks like the first car also has a bench seat but I could not get closer.	8/25/2015 6:55:12 PM
