| Many years ago, a single spur ran west thru citrus orchards to a location near 6 mi rd and Minnesota Rd. The spur is identified as Lindsay Spur from a 1965 topo map. I am unable to identify the group of buildings as packing sheds or warehouses for cotton. The original buildings have been razed. In this field or open lot; the tracks made a sweeping "S"curve from the orchard towards the foreground. The spur probably was lifted during the 80s. |
