Harry Edmunds General That's the IDEAL CEMENT switcher. Ideal Cement had a cement East of Florence on the Tennessee Pass line. The name of the small town was Portland because of the Portland cement produced there. The plant is still operational but is owned by someone else. It still ships out cement in covered hoppers. 7/4/2015 10:35:40 AM
Harry Edmunds General Insert the word PLANT between cement and East please. 7/4/2015 10:37:51 AM
Nicholas Katz General Thanks, I was wondering what IDEAL was. Does Royal Gorge Route own this unit? 7/4/2015 11:31:01 AM
Harry Edmunds General I don't know. It may, or it's stored here because the yard is a safer location. 11/26/2015 10:17:06 PM
