| Queens Village was at the end of the four track Main Line. East of here, the two tracks to Hempstead separated at Queens, with the two Main Line tracks going on to Hicksville. As such, there was a lot of action. Here we see a Hempstead train pulling away, having just discharged its riders as an Oyster Bay train blows past on track 3. The Hempstead train will stay where it is, taking that track to Garden City, where it will turn south to the end of the line. The Oyster Bay train will cross over one track to the left and continue out Main Line track 2 to Mineola. |
