| UP 7350 pushing from the back southbound into Las Vegas in a whoops almost missed that entire train as they managed to sneak past us (in my defense, the numerous helicopters (more plentiful than trains) masked/mimic the sound of a distant diesel engine... and trying to hear an at-grade crossing more than a mile away is challenging at best (but enough of the excuses - at least I had a little light to shoot in this time now that its after 8:30 (would seem the sun comes up sort of late in Vegas... then again, Ill have to take someones word for it, because its heavily overcast). |
