On Day 2 of the SEPTA transit workers strike in 1977, Amtrak E60 973 receives a lookover while Conrail E-8A 4022 and a PC-black GG-1 pause at the 30th Street service racks.

Alan Page General Thanks, Jay for your comment! What we know from Conrail's startup, F7A's (active) were numbered in series 1639-1894. Early year Conrail F7A photographs show former PC 1648 renumbered 1792 in CR blue. This was the only F7 to be repainted. However, 4022 was the former EL E-8A 833. 7/12/2016 4:12:16 PM
