MKT Sloan Yard
San Antonio's "quaintest" operation in the 70's was easily the Katy, with its one switch engine and daily round trip from Waco. The northbound train #184 is readying for its afternoon departure. All yard trackage and improvements were abandoned after UP's acquisition of the MKT in 1988, although Katy's main out of San Antonio is still busy with northbound directional UP traffic..
