David Stewart General Nice shot of some rare units! 4/1/2008 1:33:07 AM
Bernie Feltman General Could be a Manchester crew on that BQ23-7. Nice photo, Gary 2/25/2010 11:11:44 PM
Ken Roble General Some CSX crew members told me they didn't like the BQ23-7s cause it didn't have a nose to help shield any impact in an event of a collision. I guess maybe why no other road order them. 3/13/2010 12:49:37 AM
David Nutter General Good shot 7/13/2011 6:26:42 PM
Scott Bruce General My understanding is the Q stood for Quarters and that the cab held 4 crew members allowing the caboose to removed from the train. BN had GP50s with stretched cabs and shorter noses to allow cabooseless intermodal trains. 3/26/2019 3:33:19 AM
