| The railroad is next to NY 17C for a good part of the trip between Endicott and Waverly, making for great access, and one of the reasons this line is so easy to chase. Heres 557 rolling west, seen from the shoulder of the road. It has just passed the signal pair at MP 242-you can see 242-2 over the first container, and 242-1 to the left of the second red box. These were a pair of semaphores up til February of that year. |
