| Soutm Carolina (Southern) Railroad Depot (C. 1877). The Branchville Station stands at what was the first place a railroad line split from another railroad line in the world. The site of the station is where the South Carolina Canal and Railway Company's mainine split to Columbia along the Charleston to Hamburg line (near present day North Augusta, SC). |
