| This eastward view is from the B&O bridge over the NYC at the end of West Ave. at Milepost 374. The two tracks on the right lead to Pfaudler and the PRR interchange, but one has been cleverly pulled since tracks K-52-2 and K-52-3 are no longer in service. The RG&E plant on the left, the two bridges in the background, and the tracks to Pfaudler/PRR are all gone today. The old General Railway Signal complex is to the extreme right. Even the milepost has been replaced since this May 1976 photo. |
