| Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 251163 at Aurora, Illinois on April 30, 1966, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. According to the book, Burlington Passenger Car Roster, by William Glick, this car was built in 1889 by the CB&Q at Aurora as first 95, sold to the FW&DC as 919 on May 1, 1922. Rebuilt in April 1924 and named TEXLAND on July 9, 1924. It was repurchased by the CB&Q on August 12, 1943 and numbered 95. It was converted to a Rail Detector Outfit car on October 10, 1958 and renumbered 251163. |
