Tony Fernandez	General	I first saw this unit in East LA in 1978, a trailing unit on an eastbound manifest. If I remember correctly, I last saw this unit (still dead and much worse for wear) in Cheyenne, WY in the early `90s. There was some talk of preserving it as an historical unit (it was an EMD 645 engine demo locomotive), part of UP's Historical collection. I suspect that upon inspection, it was beyond even cosmetic salvage.	3/5/2015 2:40:24 PM
