The Erie built several great steel bridges, among them, Kinzua Viaduct in PA, Portage Bridge, one of two bridges on two lines over the Genesee, and the only one over that river still in service; Belfast, the other Genesee River crossing, abandoned after Conrail took over the EL, and dismantled by 1984; and this one, 3200 foot long Moodna Viaduct, which sees commuter trains on a daily basis. This is what it looks like through a very dirty RDC front window. Its a long way across there, and a long way down!!
