Andre Wehrle	General	Didn't know CP ever had any "high short hood" SD40-2s! Thought that was strictly a N&W/Southern thing. All the NRE locations have/had so much stuff that belongs in a museum yet most of it just gets stripped of usable parts and then left to rust until the price of scrap metal goes up and then out come the cutting torches.	10/5/2022 9:24:37 PM

Andre Wehrle	General	I see now it was built for Southern and sold secondhand to CP which explains why it has the CP-style single "rear" headlight on the short hood and the Southern style bell on the end of the long hood as per your other photo. Again a very unique unit that belongs in a museum, but sadly it's probably gone by now.	10/5/2022 9:26:25 PM
