Very interesting to see it so out in the open after all this time. Oldest rail I've seen was 1899, great find Marty.

Thank You Fred! Discovering, researching, and then finding the auctual location of this remanent in person really gave a sense of history and was a fascinating endavour! I thought it important to share with the rest of our RRPA community, too..What is most surprising perhaps is that this stuff is still in place and not heavily vandalized or removed for scrap..who knows for how much longer it will remain so!!

From the vertical marks (after the ET) I'd say it was rolled in July of that year.
