| Milwaukee Road 1311 at Bensenville, Illinois on an unknown day in September 1979, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. According to the March 1970 issue of The Official Register Of Passenger Train Equipment, Number 1311 was one of eight cars of this configuration in the 1309-1316 number series. Although listed as a Baggage Dormitory car, it shows seating capacity as 20. It was 75 feet over buffers, equipped with steam ejector air conditioning and an axle-generator and batteries for electricity. |
