joe scherbenco	General	Argos,In-1954. Similar pic (from other side of tracks) in WillardHarvey's "Depots of the Nickel Plate Road". Same engine and also an offset-cupola caboose tucked in behind tender. I believe 171 is stopped in both pics and i both pics by same person-credited to Howard Ameling in book.
