A735-09
At first glance, A735-09's consist looked pretty ordinary, but after a little investigation, turned out not to be. The lead unit, now a slug, started life on the B&O as a GP39, one of only 23 ever built by EMD. The second unit is a Conrail refugee GP40-2. The third unit, also a GP40-2, was built in 1980 for the C&O, and the fourth unit, another slug, was a Seaboard Coast Line GP40 built in 1969. Here they are slowing at Coosa Pines to pick up some cars, after which they'll proceed to Talladega and then back the train down to Bemiston to interchange with the EARY.
