NS Westbound Empty Coal Train 735 passing through Parrish, Al. on their way back to the Powder River Basin in Wyoming for more coal to be shipped back to Plant Scherer just north of Macon, Ga. Normal routing for these trains is through Atlanta, Ga. & Chattanooga, Tn. & on over to Decatur, Al. & Sheffield, Al. to Memphis, Tn., but during times of crew shortage, track maintenance, heavy traffic or a derailment they will reroute these trains through Columbus, Ga. & Birmingham, Al. to Sheffield, Al. & eventually Memphis, Tn.
