Switchman Images	General	Updated/corrected info from Ken Ardinger: The "CW" is from DuPont Chambersworks #108 in Carneys Point, NJ. A frame check would help, if possible, but the unit may be former TP 1006 > MP > PBR. Another possibility is x-KCS #1216 to DuPont. Unit was stored @ Conoco in Gallup, NM in recent years.	4/15/2006 10:41:11 PM

Mike Murray	General	C&NW 1001 (2nd)-1008 (2nd) purchased second hand from Precision National Corp., Mt. Vernon, Ill., in early 1973. Previous owner road numbers are direct from C&NW records; builder's data to match previous road numbers is from other sources. SP shown as "SOU" in C&NW records. Ex-KCS 1216 (EMD 5561, June 1948) was sold to C&NW at the same time as 1002-1008, being assigned C&NW number 1001. Upon inspection, C&NW rejected the unit and PNC substituted ex-P&LE 8706 in its place; ex-P&LE 8706 then became C&NW 1001. PNC made ex-KCS 1216 serviceable later in 1973 and sold the unit to DuPont as their 108.	4/16/2006 3:09:51 PM
