| The CHAT local between Dothan and Hilton is oftenused to ferry locomotives between the mechanical shops at Panama City FL, the paint shop at Cedar Springs GA, and to Hilton to be forwarded on to numerous GWI lines in the area. Todays CHAT local has former Luxapella Valley GP38 trailing and enroute to the paint shop at Cedar Springs. This unit spent many years on the nearby GSWR. No doubt it will emerge from the paint shop in the corporate GWI orange/black. As to which road it will be stenciled for, it is anybodies guess. |
