| OPEN ACCESS, THE STORY BEHIND: Step 8 - The forme state owned SJ used quite old passenger coaches. They were produced beginning 1961 and were in poor condition. The railway sold 25 of the oldest coaches between 2005 and 2009. The remaining 71 were renovated from 2005 to 2008 and are now used for fast regional services. Inside they really comfortable, old style soft seats, but refurbished with new material. A comfortable nostalgic touch. |
