Strategic Air Command car
Seen here, in the former CofG/NS yard in Dothan AL, are photos of a car formerly used by the Air Force as part of their Strategic Air Command. It appears to be from the Cold War era and by the time this photo was taken had outlived it's purpose and was now headed for scrapping. I have no idea how it ended up in Dothan AL or where it was headed.

Jerry LaBoda General Not sure calling this car a part of the "Strategic Air Command car" is correct... a number of these former USA troop kitchen cars were rebuilt to guard cars with generators and used with former Pullman heavyweight Flight Similator cars rblt. from a variety of sleeper cars. 1/20/2013 4:56:13 PM
