Ahhhh, the R7A!!! This is the car that had an R 10 body, but R1/9 otherwise. Don't recall now if it was wrecked, or a test car for the R 10 body. It always stood out in a train of R 9's. Nice to see the "oddball" was preserved. Did they save the train of R-11's, or was that scrapped?? I recall that set on the Franklin Shuttle in the 70's. All aluminum bodies, the most expensive equipment on the system at the time it was acquired in the late 40's.
